Dear Sofia the First,
This letter is being written with one intent. To thank you so much for being you. Our 15 month old daughter is an absolute terror and does not sit still. Yet, when you are on our television, she does not move. Her eyes are literally glued to the screen. We have over 30 episodes of your show DVRd. Her first words in the morning are “Fia the First” and she FLIPS OUT when we do not immediately put you on the screen.
Even though it makes me sad that we cannot watch adult shows, like, ever, I actually really do enjoy many of your episodes. Like Baileywick’s Day Off. I mean, who can’t like a character voiced by Tim Gunn? Blue Ribbon Bunny is a classic, and we- errr-she- loves the new one when Amber turned you into a cat. By the way, we totes think Amber is coming around a LOT since the first season!
No one looks forward to Fridays when there is a new episode more than the hubs and I, because we know that we will get 20 something minutes to pee/eat/clean/breathe. You are adorable, thoughtful, and polite which makes me not feel as guilty for letting her watch multiple episodes in a row. Did you ever imagine that you would be worshiped by a 15 month old….and her parents? My son adores you too and he is almost 5. Sofia, you have become such an important part of our life and we are grateful for all you do. Your songs stick in our head and we talk about you and your friends and family constantly.
Hopefully you are not freaked out by this message. We just wanted you to know how much of an impact you have on our family and we will never be able to repay you. Thank you again.
Love,
thiscoolmom
PS- You are not allowed to quit your gig at Disney Jr…ever.
