Let’s face it. We all know that the only thing our husbands want for Father’s Day is sex. If that is not an option on Sunday, here are some other ideas to show your man how much he is appreciated and loved.
- Beats Pill 2.0 is a fun gift that your husband will love. Although we do not own one (yet), I have heard amazing things about this blue tooth speaker. It is portable and is perfect for a night on the deck or entertaining guests. Plus, Dr. Dre can do no wrong, right?
- This Coach Leather Phone Case is functional- it can hold a phone (sizes up to an iphone 6) as well as credit cards. I assume that some cash could also fit in there. It’s also available in 3 colors: black, midnight and saddle. Wondering how the Droid family fits in there though. There are a ton of these phone cases on multiple sites, so you should definitely find one that fits your hub’s phone and your budget.
- Amazon’s Fire TV Stick is the perfect option for a guy who loves his Prime, Netflix and Hulu shows. It’s inexpensive and let’s be honest- you will benefit as well! (Check out Transparent on Prime- SO GOOD!)
- Has your hubs been talking about brewing his own beer for years but has never done anything about it? I found an IPA Beer Brewing Kit on Uncommon Goods that is inexpensive, and it looks relatively easy.
- A Man Purse, or a “Murse”, is something that needs to become more mainstream. My hubby is constantly losing his wallet, keys, and phone. I have wanted to get him a murse for years, but he fights me on it. I found this one at Nordstrom. Tumi makes this stylish messenger and there is plenty of room for gadgets. It is a bit pricey but well worth it.
- An Air Hockey Table. No explanation needed.
- A simple bag or basket of his favorite snacks/candy/beverages. Have each person in your family contribute a few items. Sometimes going the simple route is the best and most meaningful.
- If you have the room and the cash, an Outdoor Kitchen would be the ultimate gift. Especially for all of the lucky women out their whose husbands cook. This is on my list of things to buy once I run into some serious money.
- Underwear is such a generic gift, but not when they are Tommy John’s. This company gained major recognition after Howard Stern hyped them up daily, so of course I had to buy a pair (boxer briefs, of course) for the hubs. HE LOVES THEM. Like, really loves them.
- MAKE DINNER. Ask him what he wants a few days ahead of time, and go all out. Apps, salad, main course, dessert, beverages. If you don’t normally, wait on him! If you make dinner every night then this might not be the best option, but for someone like me who rarely gets to cook because of my work schedule, this is the perfect gift (besides sex, of course).
